In India, flexible plastic packaging is one of the most challenging plastic packaging formats to address in the journey towards a circular plastics economy, as it is mostly single-use, with low recycling and high leakage rates. Since flexible formats dominate the Indian market, unlocking progress towards Target 4 of the Pact will require a better understanding of the challenges of adding recycled content in films and flexibles.
